Dried sunflower

This is one of the works exhibited at Yokohama Triennale this year.
It was said that the sunflower absorbed radioactivity of the polluted soil.  
I felt expectation and uneasy. 
Is there any method of processing the polluted sunflower or not?
(There was not the power to absorb radioactivity in fact.)

今年の横浜トリエンナーレの作品の一つ。
汚染された土壌の放射能を吸収すると言われていた* ひまわりのドライフラワー。
この子たちにガンバってもらって土壌をキレイにして欲しいという期待と、放射能を吸収したこの子たちの処理をどうするんだろうという不安を感じた作品。
（* 実際には放射能を吸収する力はありませんでした。）
